Comedy Combo-Writing competition

As part of our belief that by telling our stories together, we develop real empathy to the other sides’ narrative and build strong foundations for real, honest dialogue we are looking for plays written by Israeli, Palestinian, Arab or Jewish writers about the Middle East, but not necessarily about the conflict.
The winning plays will be produced in London as part of a double bill: one play from Israel and one from the Arab World. The Arab play will be directed by an Israeli and the Israeli play directed by an Arab.
The play:
* Can be any style of theatre and must have an element of comedy.
* No longer then an hour.
* Written for no more then four actors.
* Written in Arabic, Hebrew or English but if a submission is not in English, and it is short-listed it will be the writer’s responsibility to provide an English version.
Submission by hard copy (not email) to
Conflict Relief , 38 Leswin Road, London, N16 7NH, UK
