Muju sketch show

mujuMuju is a Muslim-Jewish community arts organisation based at the Tricycle Theatre,
North-West London. Conflict Relief facilitated the devising of a fast-paced comedy show
based on real life experiences of Muju`s members.

Muju and Conflict Relief share a desire to explore the relationship between Muslim and Jews and decided To collaborate in exploring the relationship between these two communities through art.

Conflict Relief brings its expertise in comedy and dealing with the difficult topics surrounding the Middle East Conflict while Muju brings years of experience of creating intercultural art.

Show was performed on Sunday 16 of August 2009 at the Tricycle Theatre, London.

Faith in Comedy

faithAs a result of a continuous dialogue between Conflict Relief and the leaders of Jewish
and Muslim communities, we found that there is a real need for more dialogue between
the two religious groups. This is because of an increasingly growing divide that has
allowed young generations of Muslims and Jews to grow up fearful of and alienated from
each other.
